[ All cute and sweet. How can anyone distrust this baby? ]
He's very adept at the filing system, which makes sense given his background. We've been talking about our Cybertron as we work.

Yes, my-- the Optimus here before was proud of his archival origins. It seems to be a habit with them.
[he's still not sure how mechs who can fight gladiators evenly ended up in a library, but he's not a librarian. maybe it was a more difficult job than he'd ever imagined.]
He is lucky to have you and your brother here. I know from experience how much of a weight it takes from your shoulders to know that Cybertron's future is a positive one.

You know... I kind of like it, that it's his background. It's nice that you can start from anywhere and aim high. That's how I know I'm going to be the next Winglord.
And we're lucky to have the chance to know him too. The others, the Autobots... they talk about him but they don't really talk about him. Even Captain Bumblebee... he talks about the things he did and how he was important but, it makes them sad.

Yes, though it got complicated with Prime. [because of... you know. the war. that little thing that happened.
megatron tilts his head, suddenly, interested. he doesn't give the alternate universes much thought-- his own not being burned down by the other one was all that mattered to him. he suspects it's much the same for just about every mech on board, but her comments must mean the gigantic sad prime met some kind of inevitable end the way megatron did in his own. dead in the future. strange limbo to be in, here. megatron sets his jaw and pretends like those damn memories of the other one killing optimus aren't resurfacing again.] Then it's mutually beneficial. You're very welcome for my involving him and lifting the Optimii ban.
[said with airs, naturally.]
Now, is there any additional help you would find beneficial?

[ She says it without an ounce of shame. He hired her to make the library the best possible space it could be, and she intended to do so. ]
I think we should organize a voluntary system for translating Cybertronian texts into Galactic Standard.

[megatron doesn't know a whole damn thing about any other race that isn't cybertronian here or back home, naturally.]

[ Sipping from her cube. Sure is a nice day. ]
Well, it's the Galactic Standard I know from home, but it seems to be translating all right for people here? I translated a book on Cybertronian flora for Donnie.

I will pick up on the research started into the common languages in this reality. [it was something someone had started before, but megatron's still let a few things slip. this kind of work doesn't come naturally to him. he is, categorically, not a nerd.] This, combined with the audiobooks that Hashtag is working on, should mean much for text accessibility. I see no reason why this shouldn't move forward.
